Kids say the darndest things, don't they?
Every once in a while, I'll catch a glimpse of a conversation that a little kid is having with another little kid or an adult. And the things that come out of these little tikes' mouths are funnier than any dirty blonde joke I've ever heard.
"You look like you've done this before."
I blinked at her. "Hmm?"
"You know exactly what you want. When you see it, you go straight for it."
"Heh. Yea, I guess so. I've already done this three times today."
I've just had my cherry popped.
Practically every online journal writer comes to a point where they have to take a long, hard look at what they're writing and who's reading their words.
Sooner or later, you write something overly personal that ends up hurting people close to you.
We are a sleep-deprived society, I tell ya.
I was watching this 48 Hours news special a few weeks ago and one of the stories gave me quite a shock.
