I can feel myself slowing down already.
It's been almost three months since I moved out to the West Coast.
Behind me are the up-till-5 AM weekends (3 AM on weekdays), crowded and smelly subways, and that constant Every Second Must Be Productive feeling that I used to have.
But I suppose you know that already.
I think Life has a sense of humor. It likes to play tragic comedies. Or comedic tragedies. Whichever.
"Why are you asking me so many questions?"
"I'm sorry. Does that bother you?"
"No, that's okay. I was just wondering, that's all."
This is a story about a friend of mine.
Yea, I know. Every time someone says, "This is about a friend of mine," you automatically assume that he/she is talking about him/herself.
And sure, that's sometimes true. But this time it's not.
Really. It's not.
